SavetheSCC mobile billboard campaign

If you haven’t heard  Save the SCC is running a new campaign to raise money for a mobile billboard that will drive around LA and advertise TSCC and the fan efforts to save it.

If you would like to donate to this I’m sure they would be thrilled to have you check it all out  right here on their site.

There is also a nifty little widget to keep track of how much money has been raised and at this moment $1000 of the $3500 goal has been raised already!

TSCC Twitter Day!

Operation Save Sarah is organizing a “Tscc Twitter Day” in efforts to catch the eye of TVFandex

One day, we all log in, and all day, we tweet about nothing except TSCC. And with every post add #tscc on the end. I would love for #tscc to be one of the trendy topics for that day. We wanna show TheWbdotCom and TVFandex that we still do care, and we still LOVE talking about the show, and doing our own kind of promotion.

TSCC Twitter day will be JULY 7TH thru JULY 8TH 2009 The hours are depending on where you live. Pretty much, whenever you are on, just tweet about tscc. Quotes, your favorite episodes, your favorite characters, Anything! JUST MAKE SURE TO ADD #TSCC AT THE END OF EACH TWEET. @OPSaveSarah will be posting tscc questions and comments that you can talk about, just in case you can’t think of anything. I will be setting up some kind of thing where everyone who wants to participate can sign, just to have an estimate of how many people will be participating. Operation Save Sarah “Questions” Video Campaign

We all know, that the Season Finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles “Born to run” left all TSCC fans with many questions, and the devastating news of it’s cancellation, left us with even MORE unanswered questions about our beloved characters, and fate of the human race.

What are the questions you would like to have answered?

Well, we are announcing Operation: Save Sarah’s first video campaign. We want YOU to film yourself, with your question. http://www.savethescc.com have done a few of these (“I am Sarah Connor” and “We are the Resistance” videos, so you know the basic idea) Please get a white piece of Paper, Cardboard, etc., and in BIG, BLACK, LEGIBLE LETTERS , write or (type and print off) your question. For example: “Why did Cameron give John Henry her chip?” or “Where in the world is Danny Dyson?” etc. Ask your question! We will be taking all submissions and editing them together so that the WB and everyone else can see how many questions we have, and why we want TSCC to be picked back up. We need our answers. So if you have a question, make a video, below are the requirements and information on the videos.

REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION
Preferred Codecs:

• MPEG-2
• MPEG-4

Accepted file formats:

• .avi (preferred)
• .mpeg
• .wmv

• 4:3 Ratio Please!
• Use your common sense (Make sure you can see your question clearly before submitting)
• Film yourself long enough so that there is plenty of time to read the question. (Don’t worry about your submission being TOO long, that’s what editing is for.)
• If you want to use the questions I have used as examples, that’s fine.
• You can submit as many video questions as you want.
• There will be music over the edited version of everyone’s video, so you don’t have to vocally ask the question.
• Be Creative!!! If we have multiples of the same question, we will only use one of that question, so don’t get bummed if we don’t use your specific one (that’s why it’s best to try to be original, and submit more than just one question, so that everyone get’s a chance.)
• ATTN International Fans: The written questions DO NOT have to be in English, use your native tounge, if you wish!  But if your question is written in a language other than English, we ask that you please let us know what the question means in English so that we can edit it in. (if you prefer that we not edit in a subtitle in your video that translates your question, just let us know)
• Please submit your file with the following name format “TSCCQuestions_yourname”
• It is incredibly important that you name these files properly. Please, please, label them the way we ask.
• All submissions are due by June 28th by 12 pm EST.
• If we have a problem with your submission, we will update our twitter (www.twitter.com/OPSaveSarah and savethescc.com with a list of names of those who’s videos we had problems with. we’ll do everything we can to render a submission usable before requesting a resubmission. If you see your name on this list, email us and you may re-submit.
• Note: upon uploading, you will not receive a notification of successful upload or anything like that. The video files are not visible to anyone outside of admin, so don’t worry if you don’t see anything. If you’re concerned that your video didn’t upload, email us.
