Enjoyed the podcast. Starkiller wanted to know how the bullet shot the resistance fighter in Automatic for the People. If u watch closely u can see the bullet exiting right after he appears. They did a great job with this effect, showing that the bullet passed through his body just as he time traveled and was within his flesh at the moment he moved thru time. Since it was surround by his flesh, it passed thru with him.
As for the head in the pilot, I’ve alway considered that a mistake. They then tried to cover the mistake with the ridiculous idea that it was too shocking to see a severed head with the flesh on. Right. This is(was)a show that always did a great job with make-up effects on the terminators showing battle wounds. A severed head is certainly no worse than large sections of Cameron face being gone.
I would have emailed my comments to the podcast if I could have found the email addy on the site. Im not even sure it was mentioned on the cast.
